TIDBITS Of TRUTH - ISAIAH 10:1-3

7/21/25

ISAIAH 10:1-3
1 "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune, which they have prescribed 2 to rob the needy of justice, and to take what is right from the poor of My people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless. 3 What will you do in the day of punishment, and in the desolation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory?

Those who will not use power wisely will find themselves abusing it unwisely. The fallen nature of man can’t resist the allure of power; how it can elevate them over others that too often become their victims.

Yet at the same time, we recognize that no one achieves power but by either the LORD’s express will or His permission. Nevertheless, in either case, everyone will be held accountable to the Granter of power for how they’ve used it.

TOO HOLY TO RECOGNIZE?

Have you ever wondered what you’ll be like once you arrive in heaven? Physically we shall be made perfect; any flaws, disabilities, deformities, unsightly disfigurements will be removed and we’ll inherit beauty and grace unequalled by any and all of the most attractive people of this world.

Mentally, there will be no more deficiencies in our intellect, and in all of our cognitive skills – we’ll have minds that would put Einstein and Hawking to shame!
Remember, Scripture says that Christ is vastly superior to and above the angels (HEB 1:4), and we will be like Christ. As His bride, we shall rule and reign with Him (REV 2:26-27; even judging angels! 1 COR 6:3).

We’ll have abilities and powers that would stagger our imagination if we caught a glimpse of them in the here and now! Review 1 CORINTHIANS 15 for some subtle hints!
