TRIUMPHANT BUT TRAGIC TROJAN

Back in the 70's if you asked the average Christian what "New Age" meant, you'd probably get a blank stare. Yet it was in the early 80's that I was given a copy of Dave Hunt's book "The Seduction of Christianity" and learned all about these practices that I felt must be occurring on Mars, or any other place but Earth, because I didn't see any of it happening. . . until a couple years after!

ATTN READERS: UPDATE - Located at the bottom of this article -

A few years later there were teachings, seminars, more books, tapes and videos exposing the New Age movement for what it is: the 'Old Lie' as first proposed by Satan aka the serpent, himself, when he said to Eve "You shall be as gods, knowing good and evil".

What started in the garden of Eden was later expanded upon at The Tower of Babel or "gateway to God" in which man esteemed to elevate himself to godhood with esoteric and mystical knowledge that we know today as the occult, and gnosticism. Babel, under the leadership of Nimrod was a one world order based upon a global (the then known world) government and religion.

The more fundamental, conservative Bible-based churches were aware of what the New Age represented, and rejected both it and all its occult practices. Other more liberal churches that took an allegorical, non-literal view of scripture, that questioned the deity and virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that doubted the miraculous as recorded in scripture, these were easy prey for the seductive influences of the New Age movement.

Yet Satan is determined to have his new world order reborn; to have a global government and religion re-established in an overt sense. One contending force that has been an impediment to this strategy has been the evangelical, biblical churches; this is so because a new world order can only find cohesion when a one world religion is born and ratified by governments the globe over.

I refer to H.G. Wells, whom most of us know as a writer of fiction (The Invisible Man, War of the Worlds, etc) but he was also a fabian Socialist who has written many non-fiction books speaking on the subject of the New World Order.

The Progressive Wellsian State

Here is what he had to say about a world religion in his book, - The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution, 1928: “The political world of the Open Conspiracy must weaken, efface, incorporate and supersede existing governments….The Open Conspiracy is the natural inheritor of socialist and communist enthusiasms; it may be in control of Moscow before it is in control of New York…. The character of the Open Conspiracy will now be plainly displayed…. It will be a world religion (emph. mine). This large loose assimilatory mass of groups and societies will be definitely and obviously attempting to swallow up the entire population of the world and become the new human community….”

Alice Baily, a channeler and a founding leader of the Theosophical Society about the same time as Mr. Wells wrote his books, has written much herself, via her organization's own publishing house: Lucifer Publishing Company, now a.k.a. Lucius Trust: " . . . the teachings of the east and west must be fused and blended before the true and universal religion - for which the world awaits - could appear on earth."

Satan is having another go at it, and attempting to persuade by deception the evangelical churches and draw them into a one world religious body. We know this latest movement as the Emergent Church Movement.

This movement I believe is the latest manifestation of a paradigm shift that will ultimately lead to a one world religion, as spoken of in Revelation chs. 17 and 18. I have just recently finished reading a book entitled Trojan Church:, by Dr. Gregory R. Reid and may I say that I wholeheartedly endorse his work as it pulls no punches, it doesn't molly coddle the reader, it says it like it is.

Dr. Reid quotes proponents of this movement; these are so-called pastors and 'Christian' leaders (I call the likes of these, 'anti-Christians' simply because they deny the fundamental basis of practically all biblical doctrine) that tell us we can't take the Bible literally; they tell us what Jesus really was like, and what He really meant when He said such and such; they tell us that there is no Second Coming of Christ, that there is no coming Kingdom; that any references to prophecy in scripture are to be dismissed as nothing but allegory (allegory however is a representation of something literal, not 'make believe' but they tell you that their explanations of scriptural allegory is the truth!)

These are people like Rob Bell (read some quotes by him further down), Doug Pagett, Brian McLaren (See these videos: Brian McLaren's Attack Against Hell and Jesus Atonement (2:36), Brian McClaren on The Message of Jesus (3:25)); Marcus Borg, Rick Warren (not a direct advocate of Emergent Church Movement beliefs, but much of what he teaches and promotes falls directly in line with ECM, thus essentially no different).

Rick Warren is a member of the CFR I might add (Counsel on Foreign Relations); a globalist organization that is working towards a one world government and the eradication of individually sovereign national states: a world without borders! What's so alarming is that there is no alarm among evangelical churches!

Whereas before there were many that spoke out against the New Age movement, now there are more and more churches that are not exposing, but endorsing these leaders and their vision for the future church! What's so alarming is that our youth are being swept up and enamored by the ECM.

These young people see the church today as irrelevant, boring, outdated, taking a stand on a book that's not meant to be taken so strictly, and they are leaving such churches in favor of these others that promote mystical experiences, meditation (of the eastern and occultic sort), rituals, and focus their attention on political and social causes rather than the Singular Cause we know as the Great Commission: the gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ!

May I say that several hours a day, five days a week in public school systems have conditioned these young minds into believing that there IS no absolute truth, that evolution is true, the Bible is not; and so such a movement as the Emergent Church holds a great appeal to them.

Rob Bell is certainly one of the major forces in the ECM and especially influential among our youth! His is one of the fastest growing churches here in America.

Here is his web site: NOOMA.com

And here is a youtube presentation about Rob Bell's beliefs: YouTube - Rob Bell Nooma Exposed

Here are some statements he's made: "In Yoga, one of the central tenets of Yoga, is your breathing needs to remain the same, regardless of the pose... the Yoga masters say, 'This is how it is when you follow Jesus and surrender to God...'

That's integrating the divine into the daily."

"The Christian faith is filled with change and growth and transformation. Jesus took part in the process (took part in the process of what?? Christianity?

NO! Jesus is the focus OF Christianity, the very heart, spirit, inspiration and life of the Christian faith, He didn't 'take part' or make a 'contribution'!) by calling people to re-think faith and the Bible and hope and life and everything else."

"Jesus at one point claimed to be the way and the life. Jesus was not making claims about one religion being better than other religions."

Dr Reid writes: "Bell implies that by Christians saying that Christianity is the only way to God, they are missing it. I agree. Jesus is the only way to God, not Christianity. I have serious doubts that Bell would agree. Someone needs to ask him if he does."

Bell continues: "Rather He was telling those who were following Him that his way is the way to the depth of reality. This kind of life he was living in connection and cooperation with God (So, is Jesus NOT God?) is the best possible way to live. It is the way things are."

For Rob Bell, he sees truth as flexible as springs in a trampoline. He writes in Velvet Elvis: "Once again, the springs aren't God. They have emerged over time as people have discussed and studied and experienced and reflected on their growing understanding of who God is." and later he says:

"Our words aren't absolutes. Only God is absolute, and God has no intention of sharing this absoluteness with anything, especially words that people have come with to talk about Him. (emph. mine)"

Rob Bell, a devotee of Marcus Borg has abandoned faith in God's Word as absolute truth and authority. . . is not the result of Divine fiat but a human product.

"God is bigger than Christianity."

"The problem with 'brickianity' (his word for Christianity that takes Gods Word as absolute authority and with a literal view) is that walls invariably keep people out."

"Let's make a group decision to drop once and for all the Bible-as-owner's-manual metaphor. It's terrible. It really is." "This is part of the problem with continually insisting that one of the absolutes of the Christian faith must be a belief that 'scripture alone' is our guide. It sounds nice, but it isn't true. . . When people say that all we need is the Bible, it is simply not true."

Here is the latest about Rob Bell and his new book (2011) entitled LOVE WINS -
LOVE WINS Interview

Also consider reading this article from The RED PILL Consortium, an expose of Rob Bell and his erroneous book entitled LOVE LOST.

Dr. Reid goes into all of this, and more in his concise treatment (198 pgs.) in this book. I highly recommend that you order this book and read it, and pass it on! I myself intend on buying some copies and give them away to family, friends, saints and pastoral staff.

Additionally we as the body of Christ truly, sincerely, and incessantly need to pray for the church that our Savior founded, with all humility, passion, and earnestness and for our nation as well.

I've written another article regarding the Emergent Church, entitled Holy Relics: simply type this title into the search engine (Scoping Out This Mind) and you will be provided a link.

Certainly the times in which we live are dark, evil and even the last days. Thank you for your blog and keep them coming. For it is not the time to be sticking our heads in the sand and to believe every wind of doctrine. I believe that it is time for us, “The Church” to re-examine our hearts and to return to the plain gospel message of our Lord, Jesus Christ. For Jesus Himself claimed to be the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but BY HIM. In order to know what the truth is, we must read the Word of God; read it, study it, know it, believe it, and act upon it. It is our calling, our privilege, our responsibility and should be the desire of our hearts.
One question, in that day when we stand before Him what excuse could we possibly give for not believing in His Word, for not knowing His word for casting it aside and going the way of this world? I’m afraid there will be no excuse.

Food for thought: Jeremiah 23

1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.
11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.
17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?
19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.
35 Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
36 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
37 Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?
38 But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;
39 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:
40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

Bravo A. Kisly!!
I am reminded of the verses in Phil. 3:17-20

"Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:"

These Deniers of the Cross bearing Christ, the Messiah of Israel want to eliminate the blood of Jesus from the Christian faith (how perverse can it get?) and focus the attention of the church on this earth and God's kingdom here, and cause us to forget 'our conversation in heaven'.

A couple more entries I'm formulating/praying about have titles such as:
"Holy Relics" How we as followers of Jesus are Holy in the eyes of the Father, but Relics to the world and even the anti-Christian emergents who can't abide the Lamb that was slain from before the foundation of the Earth.

Another entry will be "As Sure As Hell..." Its about how scripture supports a literal hell; those who deny its existence are going to find out all about it... the hard way!

Looking forward to your upcoming blogs. I was discussing your blog with my mother and we both thought that a good title for you to touch on is the impending "Invasion of the Body Snatcher" Satan’s plan to neutralize Bible believers by putting them to sleep. Making them inactive, ineffective and complacent. The importance of the Armor of God and why we need to prepare for battle.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers, hmmm! Good title, even better subject matter. If you have any info or related ideas for such an entry, let me know, and I'd be glad to incorporate it into the blog!

And thank you again for your kind words and support!
