WARRIOR SAINTS, ASSEMBLE!

From the beginning when iniquity was found in the heart of Lucifer (EZEK 28:15) and he dared to utter those fateful words "I will..." thus denying the LORD in doing so (ISAIAH 14:12-14), a war ensued in the heavenly domain where the rebellious angels were dealt with. Then Satan infiltrated the Garden of Eden, and by his wiles, cunning and flattery appealed to our Parents the notion of being their own gods, and turn away from their Creator.

When they fell from their first and glorious estate, they only then realized that instead of being transformed into 'gods' they were corrupted and malformed into sinners.

Yet the LORD GOD didn't leave this effrontery unchallenged; He declared war on the serpent at once:

GENESIS 3:15
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel

RESILIENT ROOT of the RIGHTEOUS

Olive Trees are truly remarkable in their resilience; living hundreds if not thousands of years, producing nutritional fruit, healthful oils and medicinal leaves well into their maturity, even to the end of their days.
Olive trees can be decimated in branches and trunk, leaving barely nothing to the eye, but as long as the root is left undamaged, its resolved nature to begin growing again perseveres!

I read PSALM 52 today, and it mentions olive trees in the context of the one who is under the care, supervision and protection of the LORD. Let's check this out:

PSALM 52:1-4
International Standard Version (I usually quote from the ol' KJV, but I really like how this version interprets certain words)
1 Why do you make evil
the foundation of your boasting, mighty one?
        God’s gracious love never ceases.
2 Your tongue, like a sharp razor, devises wicked things
    and crafts treachery.
3 You love evil rather than good,
    falsehood rather than speaking uprightly.
4 You love all words that destroy, you deceitful tongue!.

JEWELS From The GOSPEL Of JOHN: FROM FEW to FULFILLED - Part II of II - JOHN 6:10-13

The following is a series of short exhortations, brief commentary and writings to convey thoughtful meditation on God's Word.

I have chosen the Gospel of John as the subject.  I pray that these will be a blessing and an edification for the saints.

JOHN 6:10-13
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. 12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. 13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten
