JEWELS From The GOSPEL of JOHN - WISDOM from MARY - JOHN 2:3-5

JOHN 2:1-5

1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

ARE YOU PERSECUTION PROOF?

The day and age in which we live is getting spiritually darker and darker still; no surprise there, right? (ROMANS 13:12 “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armour of light.”). 

In the headlines we read of random shootings perpetrated by psychotic, drugged-out teenagers and young adults: In Oregon. In Ohio, in Texas and Arizona . . . 

On the television we witness the rising of civil unrest and signs of potential race riots, more violence from Black and White Supremacists, Muslims, pro-abortionists and Socialist-style Democrats - while at the same time, an increase in acceptance of Islam, LGBTQ globally. Signs of a Marxist takeover of our nation are becoming more observable every passing day.

Leaders in our government are pronouncing the Constitution of the United States as "obsolete", "antiquated", "a deeply flawed document", "no longer relevant", and so on. National and historical monuments as well as the Ten Commandments are coming down by the droves, and meanwhile a Baphomet, a satanic statue (along with a burgeoning rise of Satanic churches/temples are being erected in America) stands in Arkansas!! We are losing our Judeo-Christian roots - no, we are being robbed of them!

JEWELS From The GOSPEL of JOHN - MARRIAGE INVITE To The MESSIAH - JOHN 2:1-2

JOHN 2:1-2
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

In the book of Genesis, during the six days of creation, God bestowed a blessing on each day, except for Mondays (we KNEW there was a reason why we didn't like Mondays, DIDN'T we!) but the LORD bestowed a double blessing on Tuesday, the third day of the week. This is typically why Jewish weddings are held on Tuesdays because the wedding couple seek this double blessing.

JOHN 1:47-51
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

A SMOKE SIGNAL - The Guts of Inward Truth: INTEGRITY

It has been said, that upon the return of General Norman Schwarzkopf from Desert Shield in our war against Iraq  (AUG 2, 1990-FEB 28 1991), he had a news conference with our American media; in that conference it was asked of him, "What's the biggest problem in America today?"
His answer: "Lack of integrity."

The same question was asked of author Larry Abraham and he answered similarly: "Lack of justice."

Integrity is when truth is represented in a person who will exhibit truth in action as well as words. One dictionary defines it as follows: "adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty."

GREAT and MIGHTY THINGS WHICH YOU KNOW NOT

Throughout the Old Testament we read about Israel's unfaithfulness to the LORD and how He relentlessly, faithfully draws them back to Himself, where they enjoy the blessing of renewed zeal and love for YHWH, of the fruitfulness of the land, of peace among her national neighbors with Israel, and so much more.

Even in the times of harshest judgment, where death via casualties of war, famine, disease and the ruin of their beloved city of Jerusalem, and even the temple itself, the LORD always pronounces a message of hope: restoration to the land, and blessing from the LORD Who will rule over the nation, bringing peace and prosperity.

JOHN 1:43-46
43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
